Sounds fantastic. Dave Metzenthen's a funny man and weaves a mean tale. I like the interview, too. In particular, this line: 'I won’t be writing anything mythological or fantastical soon! I’m a realist writer. I love the real world. It’s the best place I’ve found, so far…if you combine it with your own imaginings.' (I like realistic fiction, too.) And this line: 'I just tried to lock into my characters, and let them proceed.' (This can be tough as a writer but when you are able to 'lock in', pure joy.) Thanks for running this piece.
